Algonquin Eco-Lodge

3594 Elephant Lake Rd, Moffat Pond, Algonquin Park, Ontario

The Algonquin Eco-Lodge, located on the southern border of Algonquin Provincial Park, is a wilderness enthusiasts’ dream! Deep in the forests of the park and on the shores of a private lake complete with a cascading waterfall, the Eco-Lodge is completely off-grid, yet provides all the comforts of home (thanks to the micro-hydro generator built to harness green electricity from the waterfall). Summer or winter, there is always plenty to do and see at our wilderness lodge.

Our lodge was created to give you the best wilderness experience possible, while minimizing our impact on the environment. It has the feel and atmosphere of a European mountain lodge, and is one of the most secluded lodges or hotels in Algonquin Park. In fact, your experience begins with a leisurely 2.3 km walk, cycle, or ski (about 25 minutes) through Algonquin Park to reach our front doors. Don’t worry – your luggage can be transferred for you (optional). This focus on the environment has resulted in the Eco-Lodge being selected the 2012 winner of the Ontario Tourism Sustainable Tourism Award!
