New Spring Beer Festival in Muskoka, Ontario
Over the years, Huntsville, Muskoka has become known for hosting fantastic events in its historic downtown. Perennial favourites such as the Nuit Blanche North and Midnight Madness have been drawing crowds for years, and this May there is a new reason to head to Huntsville’s beautiful River Mill Park – The Muskoka 2/4 Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
The Victoria Day long weekend is the unofficial kick-off to the summer cottage season in Ontario’s cottage country. What better way to celebrate the arrival of the warmer months than by launching a fun new festival devoted to showcasing some of the best craft beer being poured in the province.
On Saturday May 18 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, head downtown to sample brews from local favourites Muskoka Brewery, Lake of Bays Brewing Company, Trestle Brewing Company., Canvas Brewing Company and Sawdust City Brew Co., as well as other Ontario craft breweries like Beau’s All Natural Brewing Co., Redline Brewhouse and Bench Brewing Company. With plenty of individual beers to sample, there will be something to please even the most discerning palate. Sampling tickets will be available for purchase for $2.00 each.
It’s hard to enjoy great beer without great food, and the festival has a bevy of local food vendors lined up to make this culinary adventure complete. Main Street Local Kitchen, Frenchie’s Crepe Cafe, Into the Blue Bakery and The Frying Dutchman will all be dishing up tasty eats to pair with your beer selections.

Tickets for the Muskoka May 2/4 Craft Beer Festival are $20 in advance for a 5oz festival sample mug and 3 sampling tickets (purchase online here) or $20 at the door for a 5oz. festival sample mug and 1 sampling ticket.
Head to River Mill Park Saturday May 18, 2019 for amazing craft beer and delicious food all set against the backdrop of the scenic Muskoka River.
