Outdoor Farmers’ Markets are a community staple as residents and visitors alike seek out locally-produced foods and goods. Markets can be found seven days a week in Ontario’s cottage country with many set against the backdrop of our beautiful lakes and natural landscape.

Here is just a partial list of markets that are happening this summer – come out and shop, grab some delectable food, listen to live music or just enjoy a leisurely stroll through some amazing local businesses.

Monday

Bala Farmers’ Market Located in Jaspen Park on Muskoka Rd 38. From 9am – 2pm (June – Sept)

Tuesday

Parry Sound Summer Market is held from June 25 to August 27, 2024, 9am – 2pm at the Parry Sound Market Square

Wednesday

Argyle Farmers’ Market Opening day is June 26 and it runs until the end of August at 18 Hilltop Rd, in Arnstein

Dwight Farmers’ Market More than 60 local vendors gather at the Lake of Bays Garden Centre every Wednesday in July and August from 9am – 2pm

Gravenhurst Farmers’ Market – New location for 2024! Gull Lake Rotary Park will be the area’s largest market’s home this year. It runs June 5 to October 9 from 9am – 2pm.

Thursday

Huntsville Farmers’ Market at the Fairgrounds. It runs May to October from 9am – 2pm at 407 Ravenscliffe Road.

Port Carling Farmer’s Market Located on the picturesque Indian River, vendors offering local and handmade goods. Thursdays from 9am – 2pm (June – Sept)

Friday

Baysville Held at the Season 2 Season Garden Market from 11am to 4pm. Starts June 21 and runs until Labour Day.

Rosseau Farmers’ Market Held from 9am – 2pm at he the waterfront park from the last Friday in June until the third Friday in September. Parking is limited so the shuttle bus is always a great idea.

Sundridge Friday nights from 5 to 8pm at the Sundridge Lions Park. From June 14 to August 2.

Saturday

Bracebridge Farmer’s Market Located at Memorial Park on Manitoba Street. It runs from June 1 to October 12 from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm

Magnetawan Farmers’ Market 10am – 1pm in the Lion’s Pavilion at the Community Centre

The McKellar Market Runs from Canada Day Weekend to Labour Day Weekend from 10am-1pm at Minerva Park

Rawley Resort Social Market Every second Saturday from June 15 to August 11am – 3pm. Rawley Resort 900 Kellys Road, Port Severn

Whitney Village Market Held by the Madawaska Rapids in the Mad Musher parking lot from 9am – noon. Runs from Victoria Day to Labour Day.

Sunday

Gravenhurst Community Market opening day is June 2 9am – 2pm and it runs until September 1. It is held at the Muskoka Drive-In, 1001 Theatre Rd, Gravenhurst 

Armour’s Sunday Market – Runs from June 16 to October 13 from 10am – 3pm. Held at the Armour Township Office, 56 Ontario St in Burk’s Falls
