Parry Sound Books

Parry Sound Books, established in 1988, is a fixture in downtown Parry Sound. Located at the main intersection, we are housed in The William Beatty Building, in what was once the Beatty Company’s General Store in the town’s lumbering days. We are known for our knowledgeable staff, our excellent selection, and our superior customer service.

We stock a wide selection field guides, cook books, biographies, mystery novels, local history, literary fiction and non-fiction, many by Canadian authors. Our children’s area features a great selection of superior children’s books, as well as quality toys and puzzles, including Ravensburger, Eeboo and Brio. If we do not have the book in stock that you are looking for, we provide a special order service at no additional charge. Frequented by locals and summer residents alike, it is our pleasure to serve the community in our small town and the surrounding area all year long. We also present readings by authors throughout the year; please visit our website for reviews, news and information about author events.
