June 21 & 22 2026 – National Indigenous Peoples Day 2026
National Indigenous Peoples Day is an important occasion that honours the history, heritage, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Our event, scheduled for June 21 at River Mill Park and June 22 at Muskoka Heritage Place, will feature activities including cultural programming, performances, vendors, and family-friendly activities. This celebration creates an opportunity for our community to come together in learning, respect, and recognition. This event is hosted in collaboration with the Huntsville Festival of the Arts, Hope Arises Project Inc., and the Huntsville Public Library. New to 2026 is the addition of the Downtown Huntsville BIA.
