August 2 – Dvorák & Danny Boy
Festival of the Sound is a world-renowned chamber and classical music festival in scenic Parry Sound. Under Artistic Director James Campbell the Festival has grown to cover three weeks in July and August, including dozens of concerts across the musical spectrum and featuring the finest artists from across Canada and around the world.
Russell Braun sings Danny Boy, Britten, and Brahms, and the Swiss Piano Trio play Dvorák‘s folk-influenced Piano Trio, Op. 90 “Dumky”.
