“My fundamental rule has always been to surround yourself with carefully chosen, timeless items that you absolutely love,” says Elise, the owner and principal designer at Veranda. It is this mentality that has made the Veranda Collection so successful in Muskoka. Veranda started in 2002 as a small home decor store in Huntsville, Ontario. It was supposed to be a strictly retail venture, but quickly grew to include advice, design and decor services. Since then Veranda has relocated to the heart of Muskoka in downtown Bracebridge, at 24 Manitoba Street. Upstairs on the second floor, the old Odd Fellow’s Meeting Hall has been restored and opened up, calling it “The Lodge”, and it is full of historic Muskoka charm. We have two floors of gallery space and whatever you’re looking for, we’re certain you’ll find something to love at Veranda.
