Limberlost Forest & Wildlife Reserve is a peaceful, year-round wilderness haven with twenty private lakes and more than 10,000 unspoiled acres of mixed forest. Limberlost is famous for its varied hiking trails. Their development began more than 80 years ago. In total, Limberlost offers more than 70 km of woodland trails and extensive woodland roads, rated as to the grade and quality to cater to evening strollers as well as those seeking more strenuous exercise. While you’re here, enjoy a variety of recreational activities and proximity to local ski hills, golf courses and the world famous Algonquin Provincial Park.

Looking to extend your stay? We offer an assortment of wilderness lodges, family cottages, fishing camps and family cabins surrounded by extensive woodland trails and sandy beaches. You need only bring your own food, beverages, toiletries and towels. Bedding, kitchen and dining utensils and propane BBQ units are provided. Each of our rental properties is available as a complete unit and can be reserved monthly, weekly or for weekends. We also have two outpost camping sites if a more rugged experience is what you’re after.
