King’s Portage Park

King’s Portage Park is a small, twenty-four site family run campground located on Georgian Bay – where the bay connects to Baxter Lake by an 118 year old dam. The docks are on Georgian Bay where you can swim, fish or reserve a boat dock for your personal water craft. Bass, Pike, and Pickerel are among the many fish species that inhabit these waters.

We promote the simple values of the camping experience. The playground in the middle of the park has a large area with a volleyball net and horseshoe pits. Other equipment is available at request such as bocce ball and croquet. Canoe, kayaks and a paddle board along with an aluminum row boat available for rental. Bring your fishing and boat licence, fishing poles and kitchen shelters. A snorkel and mask open up a whole new world of adventure exploring the wonders under the surface of our amazing waters.
