Sail Parry Sound
Anyone can learn to sail! Throughout July and August, people of all ages, 8 to 70-plus, can be on the water enjoying the great winds for which the Big Sound is famous. Various boats, from prams to racing dinghies are used Monday through Friday to sail the waters of Georgian Bay.
By the week for youth, and by appointment for adults, Sail Canada certified coaches teach CANSail levels, from the basics to competitive racing, emphasizing the enjoyment of the sport for everyone. Enjoy fresh delicious snacks and drinks, with a spectacular view of the bay on the upper deck at Sail Parry Sound.
Sail Parry Sound was founded by volunteers in 1997 to restore Parry Sound’s sailing heritage through excellence in sail training and regatta management. Visit our website to learn more about the programs, registration, members’ race nights, and how you can join Sail Parry Sound to enjoy the finest freshwater sailing in the world.
