The Moose B&B

The Moose B&B is nestled in the quaint northern town of Dorset. This boutique inn offers a spacious property surrounded by magnificent gardens and overlooks the river joining Lake of Bays and Little Trading Bay. The original house dates back to 1911, and architectural features from the era, like the beadboard ceilings and wide-plank floors, help create the ambience of a classic Victorian bed and breakfast, while an addition from 1993 and more recent renovations provide guests with modern conveniences in a spacious, airy interior. The house features many antiques and original work from many local artists.

Choose from three suites, each with private ensure bath. Our home offers access to our outdoor hot tub, screened in gazebo, and access to our common area and boat docking. Offering a wide range of menu options, we serve breakfast in our dining room at 8:30 and 9:00 a.m; however, weather permitting, you may opt to be served on the terrace, where you can enjoy your made-to-order meal surrounded by the beauty of Muskoka. Breakfast in bed is available by request, and if you’d like to get an early start to your day, just let us know in advance and we’ll be happy to have a continental breakfast ready for you.
