Marshall Dane has earned a reputation as one of Canada’s most dynamic performers. A five-time Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAO) Male Artist of the Year nominee, his original songs blend contemporary country with rock and pop influences, creating an energetic sound that appeals to audiences well beyond the country music genre.

The son of a preacher and the middle child in a family of six, Marshall was raised with the expectation that he would one day become a minister. Instead, he discovered another calling—using music to inspire, connect and bring people together.

An advanced Level 3 American Sign Language (ASL) student, Marshall has made accessibility a central part of his performances. Whether signing portions of his songs himself or performing alongside a professional ASL interpreter, he is passionate about ensuring Deaf and hearing audiences can experience live music together.

His commitment has taken him across Canada, including an unforgettable journey to Nunavut to meet and communicate with the only Deaf woman living within hundreds of kilometres. The experience, documented by CBC, reflects Marshall’s genuine dedication to making music accessible to everyone.

For the Huntsville performance, Marshall Dane and his band will perform alongside a professional American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter, creating an inclusive concert experience for both the Deaf and hearing communities.
