Bike The Edge: Allez!

By Kate
March 1, 2015

This neck of the Ontario woods is a favourite for cyclists – on and off road, hardcore and recreational.  Off-road you’ll find a variety of wooded trails and terrain that are well-maintained.

biker raceOn-road you’ll join the spinning stream of avid riders enjoying the loops, sparkling blue lakes and stunning scenery that’s  just as breathtaking as any European countryside ride. And the annual Spin The Lakes Tour happening on May 24, 2014 from Bike Muskoka is a great way to take in the scenery and meet up with fellow enthusiasts. You can also enjoy three days of multiple route rides from July 11 – 14, 2014 at the 4th annual Pedaling For Parkinson’s event out of Canadore College in Parry Sound this July. And new September 28, 2014 is the Biking for Builds Fall Ride from Parry Sound to Bracebridge.

Check out this partial list of local shops and experts to help you plan the perfect spin during your next visit to Explorers’ Edge.
