Head out with North Ridge Ranch for a 20-kilometre dog sledding experience along private bush trails, taking in the crisp air and fresh snow. Then, as evening falls, embrace the stillness of winter at Forest of Lights at Sandhill Nursery, where illuminated trails bring the winter landscape to life.

Your Winter Story Starts Here
Day One | Arrive & Settle In at Deerhurst Resort
Your winter getaway begins with a two-night stay at Deerhurst Resort. Check in, get comfortable and enjoy a couple of nights away from the everyday. Take some time to explore the resort and get ready for the experiences ahead.
As evening falls, make your way to Sandhill Nursery for Forest of Lights. Wander through illuminated trails, take in the glowing winter landscape and enjoy a different kind of winter experience. It’s a beautiful way to celebrate the season.
Day Two | Dog Sledding at North Ridge Ranch
Bundle up, breathe in the fresh winter air and meet your team at North Ridge Ranch. After an introduction to dog sledding and a few pointers from your guide, set off along private bush trails through the snowy landscape. Cover approximately 20 kilometres by sled, with plenty of time to take in the surroundings and enjoy the experience.
Halfway through, take a break for hot chocolate and granola bars. Meet the dogs, snap a few photos and enjoy a little time out in the winter landscape before heading back.
Day Three | Departure
Enjoy a final morning at Deerhurst Resort before checking out and heading home.

- This is a self-drive package. Transportation between Deerhurst Resort, North Ridge Ranch and Sandhill Nursery is not included. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation.
- Forest of Lights admission is subject to the selected visit date and operating schedule.
