Official Contest Rules

  1. Sponsor
    This contest is run by Explorers’ Edge (RTO 12), operating as The Great Canadian Wilderness (“the Sponsor”), 3-1 Taylor Rd, Bracebridge, ON P1L 1S6.
  2. Contest period
    The contest opens at 12:00 a.m. ET on September 8, 2026 and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on September 25 (“the Contest Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be accepted. The Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeper.
  3. Eligibility
    The contest is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry.
    Employees of the Sponsor, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.
  4. How to enter
    No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
    To enter: No purchase is necessary. To enter, participants must complete and submit the official Meta Lead Form associated with this contest during the Contest Period.
    Limit one entry per person and per email address for the Contest Period. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted by any automated or bulk method will be disqualified.
  5. Your email and your privacy
    By entering, you agree the Sponsor may collect and use the personal information you provide to administer the contest.
    Email sign-up is optional and separate from entering. The entry form includes a clearly marked checkbox. If you check it, you give express consent to receive marketing emails from The Great Canadian Wilderness about package experiences, local businesses, events, and offers. You do not need to check it to enter or to be eligible to win. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
    The Sponsor collects, uses, and discloses personal information in line with PIPEDA and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). See the full privacy policy at [privacy policy URL].
  6. Prize
    There is one (1) prize available to be won: a voucher valued at CAD $200 toward a Gravenhurst Muskoka package experience offered through The Great Canadian Wilderness.
    The package experiences bundle participating local businesses, which may include accommodation, dining, attractions, and activities. The winner applies the voucher toward [an eligible package / any participating package listed at (URL)].
    Prize conditions: The voucher must be redeemed by [expiry date] and is subject to availability and blackout dates. It covers up to CAD $200; the winner pays any balance above that amount. The voucher is not transferable, cannot be sold, and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a package is unavailable, the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The winner is responsible for any costs not covered by the voucher.
  7. Odds of winning
    The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
  8. Winner selection and skill-testing question
    One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on September 25, 2026 at 68 West Rd. Huntsville ON.
    Before being declared the winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer, without mechanical or other assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. The question is a four-step problem using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. If the selected entrant fails to answer correctly, declines the prize, cannot be reached, or is found ineligible, that entrant is disqualified and another entrant will be drawn.
  9. Winner notification and prize claim
    The selected entrant will be contacted by email at the address provided within 2 business days of the draw. The selected entrant must respond within 2 business days, answer the skill-testing question, and sign and return a declaration and release form.
    If the selected entrant cannot be reached or does not respond within that time, they forfeit the prize and the Sponsor may draw again. After 2 attempts to award the prize, the Sponsor may end the draw process.
  10. General conditions
    By entering, each entrant agrees to these rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the contest.
    The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or undelivered entries, or for technical failures of any kind.
    The Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, amend, or suspend this contest at any time and without prior notice if any factor beyond its reasonable control, including fraud, virus, bug, or computer, electronic, or system malfunction, affects the fair administration, security, or proper conduct of the contest, subject to any regulatory approval required. The Sponsor may change any contest date at its sole discretion.

    By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to the use of their name and town of residence by the Sponsor for contest-related publicity, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
    Social platform disclaimer: This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta, or any other platform. You provide your information to the Sponsor, not to the platform.
    This contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. It is void where prohibited.
