August 10 – Summer Foraging – Lake of Bays

An afternoon hike in the beautiful oak hills of the Algonquin highlands to connect with nature and learn about summer foraging.
Laura Gilmour of Wild Muskoka will lead participants on an afternoon forest wander through the beautiful forested hills behind her home to share nature connection practices, forest plants and mushrooms and he unique history of this area and enjoy gorgeous views of Lake of Bays. This event will not be appropriate for people with mobility issues. Come dressed for the outdoors with sturdy shoes, a water bottle and any snacks you may want for a few hours in the woods.
