July 7 – Kids’ Bug Bioblitz

Join biosphere staff for this FREE Kids’ Bug Bioblitz at Yvonne Williams Park in Parry Sound. We will become citizen scientists by observing bugs in the mud and in the garden and learning how to identify them! This Kids in the Biosphere program is fun for the whole family!
A bioblitz brings people together to discover local plants and animals and record their findings. At this bioblitz, we will be focused on insects and the important roles that they play! Become a community scientist by learning about pollinators, how to identify them, and recording as many species as you can find!
Dress prepared for the weather and bring your bug nets and observation tools! GBB staff will collect bugs in the mud for observation on land.
