November 22 – Arts Night
Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School in collaboration with Theatre Muskoka is excited to bring you a night full of food, art, music and theatre in our first Arts Night on November 22nd! This night is designed to bring the community together to celebrate the arts, and the many talented youth in Muskoka.
Senior drama students have selected, designed and developed two short one act theatre shows. Starting with an intense drama, the play Ile by Eugene O’Neill takes you to the arctic seas and the limits of society and sanity. Following Ile, BML music students will serenade you while you snack on tasty hor d’oeuvres and treats created by our Hospitality and Tourism class. Throughout the night peruse the beautiful art on display created by a variety of visual arts students. Finally, step back into the theatre for the robust comedy Forbidden Fruit by George Jay Smith with quirky characters.
