The Pines Cottage Resort

Tucked away on a quiet sandy beach on Oxtongue Lake in North Muskoka is the ideal place for you to enjoy a great Canadian summer vacation tradition – a week at the cottage. The Pines Cottage Resort is a small enclave of fully equipped housekeeping cottages, just 10 minutes from the West Gate of Algonquin Park. All cottages at the Pines will have been outfitted with new beds, furniture, new wood or laminate floors, new linens, towels and new kitchen equipment.

We offer a number of onsite activities and amenities to make your getaway as active or as relaxing as you choose. Our beach is second to none! A roped off area for younger children and a floating swim raft are popular for both young and old. Bring your beach towel and toys and spend those sunny summer days our shores. Our cottage rental rates include use of canoes, kayaks and small paddle boats, and small motor boats are available for our guests to rent. We also have a playground, water inflatables, horseshoe pits and a variety of sports equipment for guest use.
