Logging Chain Lodge

Established in 1947, Logging Chain Lodge has been family owned and operated by the Tapley family for three generations. Our quiet and friendly resort is open year round and offers comfortable self catering cottage rentals in Muskoka, conveniently located in the small village of Dwight between Huntsville and Algonquin Provincial Park. We offer 5 cottages and a 2 unit Duplex Cottage scattered amongst our beautiful waterfront property on Lake of Bays. We live on site and are here to make your vacation unforgettable.

When you stay with us, you will enjoy the amenities of larger resorts, but at reasonable rates. We offer satellite TV, free wifi, full kitchens, four piece bathrooms, outdoor furniture, 7+ acres of land, a large children’s playground, free use of canoes and kayaks, free Summer Activities Program (including 2 evenings of archery, 2 craft mornings, and family campfire nights), and swimming at Dwight Beach – a beautiful, clean all sand beach that gently slopes into the lake. For the adventure types, there are ATV and snowmobile rentals within walking distance as well!
