Welcome to Algonquin’s Edge Resort. Our property is located adjacent to the southeast corner of Algonquin Provincial Park along the Madawaska River and offers you an abundance of wilderness experiences with numerous lakes, rivers, streams, and thousands of acres of crown land. The natural features of South Algonquin are nothing short of awe inspiring. Located only two hours from Ottawa and three from Toronto. Enjoy the scenic vistas, fishing, swimming, boating, white-water rafting, canoeing and bird-watching opportunities. Taking a break to watch the most beautiful, breathtaking sunset over the Madawaska River brings the promise of a new dawn.

You can explore over 200 kilometers of navigable waterways with canoes, kayaks, or motorized vehicles. Those who prefer the sun and sand may enjoy 650 feet of private beach. The intricacies of the Madawaska waterways are the best means to encounter wildlife – whether you watch birds, catch fish, or howl at wolves.

During the development process, we worked closely with the township of South Algonquin, who are dedicated environmentalists, who provided guidance and oversight of our efforts to preserve and, in some cases, enhance the natural state of the property. We developed only 6% of our property to bring harmony and privacy to each of our 9 cottages and 8 glamping domes.
