Celebrate the season’s first wild leeks at the 2nd Annual LeekFest in the Mag! This community favourite returns with a packed day of foraging, nature education, and local fun.

Kick off the morning with a presentation on responsible foraging, followed by a hands-on Introduction to Foraging Workshop at 2pm at Canadian Farmstead (pre-registration required). Nature enthusiast Bob Bowles takes the stage from 1–2pm with a wide-ranging talk on the natural world from mushrooms and mammals to mosses, birds, and beyond.

Round out the day by entering the Leek Soup Contest and soaking up all the community spirit Magnetawan has to offer.
