June 4 – Briar Summers
Briar Summers and her band are excited to be returning home to share their latest original pop-rock stylings. Featuring the talents of Muskoka musicians Jamie Bestwick (bass), Daniel Dennis (cello), J’aime Payne (guitar) and Logan Coey (drums), this special performance promises to be a very memorable one!
Briar Summers’ critically acclaimed debut album, FROM THE ASHES, released in 2021, was produced by three-time Grammy Award-winning producer David Bottrill (Peter Gabriel, Tool, Rush, Crown Lands), and her subtle yet profound single, “Stronger,” has enjoyed airplay both locally and internationally.
Briar Summers is no stranger to the Algonquin stage. You may remember her from such productions as Huntsville: A Choral History and Huntsville High School’s Rock of Ages and Newsies: The Musical. In the spirit of giving back to the community, proceeds from this event will benefit the Huntsville Hospital Foundation.
